Cowboys Fan Protests Jerry Jones with Bold Sign on Draft Night Following ‘All-In’ Remarks

DALLAS Cowboys fans have been showing their disapproval of team owner Jerry Jones during the 2024 NFL Draft.

Jones, 81, vowed to be aggressive in strengthening the roster after the Cowboys’ disappointing end to the 2023 NFL season.

Jones said Dallas would enter the offseason with an “all-in” approach, fuelling fans’ hopes for a strong free agency.

But the Cowboys failed to make major signings with the franchise then trying to clarify the businessman’s remark wasn’t meant to foreshadow big-name roster additions.

Ahead of the draft, Jones doubled down on his “all-in” strategy.

“We feel great about what we’ve been in free agency,” he said.

“All-in. All-in. All-in. We’re all in with these young guys.

“We’re all-in with this draft.”

But part of the Cowboys faithful appeared to be unconvinced by Jones’ assurances.

One fan held up a sign showing a crossed-out face of the team’s owner at a draft party in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday, per NFL on Fox.

And during the night, Dallas traded down in the first round, giving up the No. 24 pick and a 2025 seventh-rounder for the Detroit Lions’ Nos. 29 and 73 selections in this year’s draft.

Jokes about Jones’ “all-in” comments immediately flooded NFL Twitter.

“So what is Jerry Jones exactly all in on?” one asked.

“How are you feeling out there Cowboy fans, pretty sure Jerry Jones is all in,” one wrote.

The Cowboys used the No. 29 pick to select Oklahoma tackle Tyler Guyton.
