Olivia Culpo has shared some behind the scenes footage of the moment fiance Christian McCaffrey’s younger brother Luke was selected in the NFL Draft.
Luke, a wide receiver from Rice, was taken by the Washington Commanders at the end of the third round on Friday night.
The 100th overall selection is the son of former star receiver Ed McCaffrey – a three-time Super Bowl winner – and the brother of Christian, the current star running back of the San Francisco 49ers.
And the exact moment he discovered he’d be joining the Commanders – and his brother in the NFL – was captured on Culpo’s Instagram.
The clip shows Luke ending a phone call with Commanders executives before telling his gathered friends and family that they had selected him.
A huge roar erupts in the kitchen at the McCaffrey family home in Colorado and Christian quickly went over to his brother, who was being embraced by his mom Lisa.
Culpo also posted a picture of a cake that they had made for Luke.
Olivia wasn’t the only member of her family to be at the party, however, as the McCaffreys made it a family affair.
Both of Olivia’s sisters – Sophia and Aurora – flew into Colorado with Olivia and Christian earlier in the day to be in attendance and they posted plenty of content.
Aurora captured Christian sitting on the sofa in tears after his brother was drafted while Sophia shared footage of the family watching the pick be announced live on TV.
She also shared video of a giant Raising Canes order that fueled the family for the evening.
Luke faces enormous pressure going into his rookie season thanks to the remarkable achievements of his dad and brother.
Christian was named AP Offensive Player of the Year last season as he helped the 49ers to the Super Bowl, where they were narrowly beaten by Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ed, meanwhile, won the Super Bowls in his career with the New York Giants, 49ers and Denver Broncos.
