Fans’ expectations for the San Francisco 49ers to win the Week 2 game against the Minnesota Vikings skyrocketed after an impressive season-opening win against the New York Jets. However, the 49ers left fans stressed after a 23-17 loss to the Vikings, including Brandon Aiyuk’s girlfriend, Rochelle.
Following the game, Rochelle posted a TikTok, in which she can be seen recreating a viral video. The caption of the video said:
“Niner Gang acting like we’re OK rn.”
“It’s gonna be yet another long season chalddd,” Rochelle captioned the TikTok video.
The 49ers underperformed in the first and third quarters and were unable to catch up by the end of fourth quarter. The Vikings, on the other hand, kept the scoreboard rolling constantly throughout each quarter, leaving U.S. Bank Stadium with their second win of the season.
Even though the 49ers lost, they didn’t fail in keeping the fans hooked to the game until the end, which includes Rochelle. Talking about Rochelle, she will be back to cheer for the wide receiver in Week 3, noting that she’s one of the biggest supporters of Aiyuk.
Brandon Aiyuk’s girlfriend Rochelle penned down an emotional pre-season note for the WR
Before entering the regular season, the 49ers organized a Gatsby-themed party to kickstart the season with a blast. Aiyuk attended the party with Rochelle, who later recapped her fun time with an Instagram post. In the caption, the influencer shared an emotional message for the wide receiver.
“The last 6 months have, unfortunately, probably taken some years off my life. I’m just ready to have fun now. Congratulations to my FIANCÉE for all of his accomplishments! B, your dedication to your craft is inspiring. Mr. Go Getter,” Rochelle wrote.
“You are the most humble and genuine man. They don’t know you like I do boo. You deserve everything in this world and I am so proud of you. Here’s to year 5! 2018 us would be shocked to see how far we’ve come together,” she concluded.
While the 49ers ended up winning their first game of the season, Aiyuk had to face criticism for dropping a potential touchdown pass from Brock Purdy. This includes Peyton Manning, who blasted the wide receiver for his missed touchdown catch.
