The rapper supported the Kansas City team, who kept their undefeated record intact after successfully blocking a field-goal attempt — and chatted with Sudeikis — at the Nov. 10 home game
The rap legend and “King Swiftie” made an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 10 to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs, who won on a dramatic last-second blocked field-goal attempt — and mingle with the team’s starry fanbase!
To document his day in Kansas City, the Public Enemy member, 65, shared a video of himself decked out in Chiefs gear as they took on the Denver Broncos in the Week 10 home game.
The footage showed the New York native — who repped quarterback Patrick Mahomes on his jersey — dancing and rapping enthusiastically to “GDFR” by Flo Rida. “Ayo, they’re playing you right here at the Chiefs game, Flo,” he said in the clip.
“#ChiefsKingdom,” he simply captioned the video, tagging both the “GDFR” rapper and NFL team.
Shortly after, the rapper shared another look into his time in Kansas City, posting a clip of himself chatting with longtime Chiefs fan Jason Sudeikis, who was sitting in the same suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
The rapper and Ted Lasso star appeared commiserate about the Broncos lead in the clip, with Flav declaring “there’s plenty of game left,” as they shook hands.
Also at the Chiefs-Broncos game was one of Flav’s favorite people: Taylor Swift.
Though the pair didn’t appear to be watching the game from the same area, Swift, 34, was in attendance, cheering on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as he scored a touchdown that tied a franchise record.
Flav’s appearance at the Chiefs game comes as no shock, as the music icon is a longtime — and vocal! — supporter of athletics, as well Swift, who has become a Chiefs franchise fixture since she began dating Kelce last year.
In September, the rapper told PEOPLE that despite the numerous appearances he has already made at Swift’s Eras Tour — even getting a shout-out from the singer herself during a Germany show in July — he isn’t done just yet.
As the final few shows of her record-breaking tour near, Flav told PEOPLE he wants to make “as many as I can make.”
“I know I’m going to one of them in Florida,” Flavor Flav said at the time. “After that, I don’t know, as many as I could go to. As many as I can, as many as my schedule will permit me to go to, at least.”
Though the “King Swiftie” didn’t appear to cross paths with the pop star at the Chiefs game, the duo did chat earlier this year at the Grammys, with Flav later telling the Los Angeles Times that he finally “got to get some Taylor time” at the awards show.
“The discussion [at the event] was about me congratulating her on all her success,” he told the outlet. “And me being a big fan of hers, a big supporter of hers.”
