Is Travis Kelce ready for parenthood?
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end joked about having kids to “become brilliant” while hosting Prime Video’s “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”
In a clip from Tuesday’s episode, Kelce reacted to celebrity guest Ryan Fitzpatrick’s comments about fatherhood making you “wiser.”
“Is that what happens when you have kids? You get smarter?” the NFL star, 35, asked with a smirk. “Man, that’s all I had to do to become brilliant?”
“Just have a baby,” Fitzpatrick replied as the audience cheered.
One fan commented on the video, saying Kelce wasn’t “hiding the baby fever,” while another gushed over the football pro’s cheesy smile at the “mention of babies.”
The Super Bowl champion, who’s currently dating Taylor Swift, has previously opened up about his future children on his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
“I might name my first kid Conan,” he said in an April episode, sharing that the inspiration came from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1982 film, “Conan the Barbarian.”
The following month, the tight end fueled both engagement and baby rumors while discussing lab-grown diamonds on the podcast.
Talking about French NBA player Victor Wembanyama, who is more than 7-feet tall, Travis said, “You can’t tell me that dude wasn’t made in a f–king lab over there in France.”
“Lab-grown diamonds, that’s a lab-grown f–king NBA player. Can’t wait til I f–kin’ make one,” he added.
Jason, however, quickly jumped in and begged his younger brother not to give “conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto.”
At the time, several fans reacted to Travis’ comments, with one writing, “Mini me in coming [sic] .”
“DONT TELL ME THAT U CANT WAIT TO MAKE BABIES WITH MY TAYYY TRAAAAVVVVVV WHATS GOING OOOONNNN,” another chimed in.
Swift, 34, and Travis went public with their relationship at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023 after privately dating for a couple months.
The two have since been spotted on PDA-filled dates and supporting each other’s respective careers.
The pro athlete has notably attended several of the pop star’s record-breaking Eras Tour shows, while the songstress cheers for her beau at many Chiefs games.
