Jason Kelce had a hilarious take on the NFLPA gunning for a new directive. After a game or practice, journalists are generally allowed access to the team’s locker room.
This has sometimes led to embarrassing situations for both journalists and players who are often changing after being back from playing on the field or practicing.
So the NFLPA finally decided to demand reporters stay out of the locker room. But does that mean no post-game interviews? The Association merely said that the reporters collect at a designated place outside the locker room where they would be joined by the players who can then be interviewed.
Discussing this new demand by the NFLPA, Jason Kelce said:
“I’m not gonna lie. It is a little weird that people are in there. I don’t mind. I never minded it. Listen, somebody wants my d**k is low on the totem pole. I’m not impressing anybody or doing anything. If you want to look at it, go for it – be my guest. It’s not gonna impress you.”
On the other hand, journalists argued that taking away locker room access would mean that they would not be able to put out more authentic stories and build deeper relationships with players.
In the latest episode of the ‘New Heights Podcast’, Jason Kelce said that Taylor Swift has been helping relax his younger brother’s reservations towards certain cuisines.
“She’s introducing new foods to you, and it’s been one of the greatest things that I’ve been happy about,” Jason said. (23:10)
Travis agreed overall, but still expressed some hesitation:
“I‘m still picky when it comes to, like, what I’ll eat on the table, but at the same time, it’s like … I’m gonna dance. I’ll dance,” Travis Kelce said.
When Jason Kelce pushed for more clarification, he said that he was open to trying out curry, provided it wasn’t too thick and looked like mushy baby food.
The Kansas City Chiefs are currently in their bye week, which means Travis can manage to spend more time with his beau, Taylor Swift. Jason, on the other hand, isn’t going easy on the retirement life.
In the Chiefs’ last outing against the Atlanta Falcons, he showed up at the Arrowhead Stadium and tailgated with Chiefs fans. Just last year, the Chiefs and the Eagles were fighting each other for the Super Bowl, and now Jason Kelce seems to have transformed into an ardent Chiefs fan.
