The commercials highlight the couple’s life since the Philadelphia Eagles alum retired from the NFL earlier this year
Jason Kelce is trading footballs for hoagies in a new campaign for Wawa that highlights his life post-retirement with wife Kylie Kelce.
In an exclusive video (above) shared with PEOPLE, the former Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, arrives home with an armload of sandwiches from the Philly-based chain and chugs iced tea straight from the bottle as he rushes toward the house.
Kylie, 32, who served as creative director and producer on the shoot, instructs her husband, “More emotion, J., like you mean it!”
The couple’s campaign for the convenience store brand, which officially launches on Friday, Aug. 23, aims to show how Wawa has “grown to be a staple in their new routine,” according to a press release shared with PEOPLE.

The release adds that Kylie and Jason are longtime Wawa customers, and Kylie grew up going to the chain. The mother of three, who shares daughters Wyatt Elizabeth, 4, Elliotte Ray, 3, and Bennett Llewellyn, 1, with Jason, drew on her knowledge of the brand’s offerings and her experience as a mom to shape the commercials.
“Directing these Wawa commercials with Jason is similar to the way I manage every day with our family,” Kylie explained. “I try to go in with a plan, but distractions happen, so we just take everything in stride and do our best.”

“Now that Jason is retired from playing football and our girls are heading back to school, our days at home look so different than they did a year ago at this time,” she continued. “At the end of the day, Jason and I are a team, trying to keep our household running smoothly in all the chaos, just like so many other families. But I do tend to wear the coach’s hat a lot of the time on our team, which helped during this day on set!”
The couple tied the knot in 2018 at Philadelpia’s Logan Hotel, two months after Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII.
Jason, who was drafted by the team in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons in the league earlier this year.

The Eagles alum is taking on a fresh gig this fall, as ESPN’s new Monday Night Countdown commentator.
“I am mostly excited to see Jason excel in a new position,” Kylie told PEOPLE earlier this month. “I jokingly say it’s a pain in the butt that he’s good at everything, and I know I’m biased in that, but I truly believe he’s good at everything because even if he’s not good at the start or the best at the start. He will work, endlessly and tirelessly until he can achieve that. So, I have full faith that he’s going to tackle his new position and excel.”
